Golden Farm is a thoroughbred stud farm situated in the heart of the famed Golden Vale in County Tipperary. The ground it stands on is quite literally considered to be amongst the finest land to raise bloodstock anywhere in the world.
The central location of Golden Farm means that it has ready access to an array of top-class service providers that are based close by. It is also just 20 minutes from the world-class Fethard Equine Hospital and no more than two hours away from any of the leading stallion farms in the country.
The last 15 years has seen Golden Farm build a fine record as a breeder of thoroughbreds. Every system in place on the farm is designed to keep the horses as healthy and happy as possible, with the goal being to produce racehorses that are even-tempered, durable and talented. Having started from the very bottom of the market in terms of mares and sires, Golden Farm has consistently boxed above its weight as a thoroughbred nursery, selling to world-renowned owners such as Godolphin and Shadwell. The best-known representative of the farm thus far has been Ventura Tormenta, who won the Prix Robert Papin (Group 2) at Chantilly in 2020 (pictured).
